Travel Day/England Day 1

Early on Saturday morning, we finally made it all the way up to Edinburgh Castle.  By now, the temp had dropped considerably and was a chilly 13C compared to yesterday's 25C.  Brr!  Standing on the top of the rock probably didn't help things as it felt like we could get blown away. 

We headed back to the car (thank Bert and Ernie for the Edinburgh parking spot!) and drove out of Edinburgh.  We stopped at the border for pictures as we said good-bye to Scotland and hello to England.
