The British Museum is a really cool place to spend the day and they have great activities for children. We went into the library and picked up a Treasure Hunt sheet that we had to follow. We had a bunch of clues to find, and then we had to use letters to form a word that was central to the theme of things we'd looked at. We left the library and made our way to the first room, via the Egyptian mummies room, where Cole had to walk through crowds of people with his eyes firmly closed.
We saw lots of Roman Emperors. I'm not sure why everyone looks so miserable here, but I think they were trying to look as serious as the busts.
Love the British Museum, what a wonderful building.
Cole took this one and we were instructed to drink our coffee for the shot.
Outside in the South African gardens.

Outside in the South African gardens. After the British, we went on the tube to Kensington and got off at the Natural History Museum. We've been here before, and there are lots of photos of the building on my flickr, if you start HERE
